Routes to enjoy cycling in Mallorca

Cycling in Mallorca is a great way to get to know some areas of this beautiful island. From the Port of Pollensa you can enjoy incredible views of the Tramuntana mountain range. Moreover, it is possible to do them at any time of the year.

Route to La Victoria

If you want to enjoy the Mallorcan landscape, this is the route not to be missed. From the port, it is a 32-kilometre walk that is not very difficult. For this reason, it is suitable for cyclists of all levels. You will be delighted by the road to Puerto Alcudia and then you will have to follow the road along the sea to La Victoria. The most difficult stretch is a 444-metre-high pass.

Route to Cap de Formentor

This is a great route to do from Pollensa. It is designed for cyclists in good physical shape, as you will encounter some challenges. It is a 40-kilometre route with 100 metres of steep climbing.

The best thing about this ride is what you'll find along the way. You'll pass the Sa Creueta viewpoint where you'll be able to contemplate the Colour, a rock that will leave you speechless. From the viewpoint, you will have a climb of just over 3 kilometres to reach the 13-kilometre path that will take you to Cape Formentor, the northernmost point of the island.

Once you have arrived, bear in mind that you can make a stop. At the cape, there is a cafeteria where you can take a break. Make the most of it and enjoy the views.

Route to the Tramuntana mountain range

Do you consider yourself an advanced cyclist? Then we are going to tell you about a route that you are going to love. We are talking about a longer distance: 168 kilometres with 2,700 metres of ascent. On this adventure you will tackle the most famous climbs on the island: Coll de Femenia, Coll de Soler and Puig Major. We recommend that you carry water and something to eat so that you can last the whole day without having to worry about finding a place to shop.
